How to Try This Witch Line Study
Ready to get started on this fun-filled art activity? Here’s what you need to do. First off, download the free printable, save it and print it on a sheet.
Gather the rest of the supplies and have them handy.
Get your little one to fill in the different sections of the witch with straight lines, using the fine tip marker.
Let him do this for the entire picture, leaving certain obvious areas blank- like the eyes, the details, etc.
Now, it’s time to put in some color! Get out the box of crayons, and let your little one color the different sections, however, he likes!
If you don’t have crayons, you can also get your little one to use color pencils instead.
Once that’s done, you can now move on to cutting out the extra white border and use glue to paste it wherever you want to!
And that’s it! It’s that easy!
Why Witches?
If you randomly spotted this witch line study activity, and you’re still wondering why your little one actually needs to learn about them, well, it’s because most growing children develop fears about things they don’t know. Getting your child familiar with Halloween and its concepts and characters can allow you to discuss and tackle the subject in a more practical, and less scary way.
Plus, this also helps improve your toddler’s writing abilities, and gives his motor skills a good boost.
Did your little one love this line art activity? Time to gear him up for some more fun filled ones momma! I’ve got you some more similar exciting line art and paper craft activities right here, so go ahead and take your pick!
