You don’t need to go to Hobby Lobby to get these supplies. Here are the supplies needed for this Haunted house art project:

Printer and haunted house template
Construction Paper or Cardstock
Oil Pastels
Scissors
Glue

Spooky Haunted House Directions

This easy haunted house craft is great for kids. It builds fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and teaches kids to follow step by step directions. Follow the directions below to make this fun craft.

Step 1: Download your Materials

Download and print out the haunted house template. Carefully cut out all the pieces, following which color cardstock to print on.

Step 2: Get Creative with Pastels

On a white piece of construction paper or card stock, draw a circle (moon) with yellow pastels and then trace that circle with orange. Use your fingertips to smudge the colors together. Use shades of blue to finish filling in the paper, darker to lighter. Blend, blend, and blend some more!

Step 3: Create a Border

Once finished, draw a border around the entire piece of paper with black oil pastel. Blend the black pastel towards the middle of the paper.

Step 4: Glue Everything Together

Glue the fence towards the bottom of the paper. Then, glue the house on top of the fence and the bats over the moon. Next, glue the doors and windows onto the house followed by any ghosts you want to add!
