- Wooden or Paper Mache Eggs
- Acrylic Paint
- Paintbrush
- Cardstock
- Hot Glue
- Pencil
- Black Paint Pen or Permanent Marker
- Scissors

How To Make This Painted Blue Whale
Begin by painting your wooden egg blue. I painted a few eggs at the same time as I was creating both the crab craft and the fish craft alongside my blue whale.
Whilst waiting for your eggs to dry, download and print off your template and use this cut out the whale fins and tail using cardstock
Glue the cardstock fins and tail onto the whale craft.
Paint the belly of your blue whale white. Allow the paint to dry completely.
Use a pencil to draw eyes onto the whale.
Once you are satisfied with how they look, trace over the pencil with black marker or a black paint pen.
Trace the white belly with black marker or a black paint pen.
Add lines across the white belly.
Draw a smile on the front of the whale with black marker or a black paint pen
Your whale craft is now complete. Easy peasy!
