Letter C Activities And Ideas For Preschool Kids
If you want to focus on the letter C with the little ones then there are plenty of letter C activities that you can do. I have so many ideas and today I’ll share just a few.
Of course, when I think of the letter C, I think of the Very Hungry caterpillar. You may want to talk about the caterpillars and how they start with the letter C. There are plenty of preschool caterpillar books you might like to read with the kids.
You could take the kids on a caterpillar hunt in the garden or preschool outdoor area. Try painting caterpillars or making caterpillar crafts from recycled materials!
You might want to read some caterpillar themed books or watch paint some Very Hungry Caterpillar stones.
Another fun idea might be to get the kids in the kitchen making vegetable caterpillars. Now that would be fun.
More Letter C Activities
Other Letter C activities might include a letter C, game where you have to name as many animals as you can starting with the letter C.
Make a list of words or cut out some pictures of animals starting with the letter C and get the kids to act out which animal they are and have the other children guess.
Why not try teaching the children the Cha Cha Choo Choo Train Song. That would be fun! It’s a great way to practice the letter c sound.
