How To Make This Easy Caterpillar Craft
I’ll now show you how to create this simple and easy paper plate caterpillar craft for toddlers.
Begin by cutting your paper plate into a snail shape.
Cut a chenille stem and bend it in half. Poke two small holes through the paper plate (where you want the head of the caterpillar) and push the tips of the chenille stem through the holes.
Glue the pom poms to the caterpillar.
Add eyes to the first pom pom.
Wrap the tips of the chenille stems around a pencil to create a curl.
Your pom pom caterpillar is now ready. This will make a great caterpillar craft for toddlers and preschool kids and is a fantastic way to introduce children to bugs and insects, whilst talking about color and practicing fine motor skills.
