How To Make This Frog Craft

Use the hole punch to cut two pink circles for each bag.

Using a ruler and scissors OR a cutting board, cut red paper into 1 inch strips. You need one strip for each puppet. Curl the strip around a pencil to create a curled tongue.

Fold down the paper bag about 2 inches from the top and press to create a tight crease so the bag will remain closed.

Attach the pink circles to the folded flap as cheeks. Then, glue the eyes to your frog paper bag. Using a black marker, create two dots for the nose.

Finally, use glue to attach the tongue under your frog paper bag folded flap.

Allow to dry completely before filling with goodies.

Option To Paint The Frog Paper Bag

This is a super fun idea and you can turn it into an art or painting project if you use brown paper bags and want to get out the paints. Painting can be a great project for kids and allow them to be more creative and develop fine motor skills.

However if you opt for an easier task you can buy a bag which is already green, that could be a better option for really small kids who may not have the patience of the attention span for long projects.
