Who Is Dr Seuss?

Dr Seuss was a children’s author who’s real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel. Dr Seuss was born and raised in Massachusetts in the United States Of America.

How Many Books Did Dr Seuss Write?

Dr Seuss wrote over 60 books during his lifetime. He sold over 600 million copies of his works and these books were translated into over 20 languages.

The Cat In The Hat truly is one of my favourite Dr Seuss Characters. In fact, my daughter dressed up in her, Cat In The Hat costume for world book day. Since then we’ve made a number of fantastic Cat In the Hat themed crafts over the years.

Who would have guessed that this Dr Seuss character would become so popular?

Mr Brown Can Moo

Mr Brown is a Dr Seuss Character who can make a lot of different noises including making animal sounds. The kids will love this story and enjoy reading along as they discover the different sounds of Mr Brown.

One Fish Two Fish

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish is a great Dr Seuss book to teach kids basic counting skills. This is a simple children’s story about Jay and Kay. These characters have many weird and wonderful creatures they have as friends and pets.

In this story, the Cat gets up to more mischief in the home of Sally and Conrad. This is a great sequel to the original Cat In The Hat story and is a great read aloud book for kids.
