Nativity Angel Line Study For Kids

Christmas is almost here and everyone’s busy planning social gatherings and feasts for loved ones. All of the cleaning, cooking and decorating can take time away from your kids and they may be feeling a little left out.

Well, that’s nothing to worry about. There are many ways to keep your kids entertained and busy while you go about your chores. One of these would be to keep them occupied with some art and craft activities.

This activity is a line study which makes it both creative and educational. Once your child perfects their technique of drawing straight lines, they’ll be able write alphabets well and numbers too.

Nativity Angel Christmas Activity

You needn’t leave your child alone to engage themselves in this activity. You could choose to do it with them as well. They may require some guidance on how to draw straight lines properly and colour within the outline.

If you choose to do this activity with your child, you can talk them through it. Tell them some fun facts about angels and the nativity angel in particular. You could regale them with the nativity tale.

The significance of the angel and how it appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus is a fascinating tale. Your children are sure to love listening to it and they’ll be all the more excited about this colouring page when they do.

HOW TO MAKE THIS Christmas Angel Line Study

begin by printing off the coloring/line study page. Once printed you can draw lines in each section of the angel design.

Line studies are fantastic as they allow little ones to practice fine motor skills. Once completed add color using crayons, felts or paints.

You can add this to your line stuy collection and place in a folder or use in the classroom as a Christmas display piece.Alternatively use this alongside the NATIVITY story or use after mat time.
