One of the best ways to keep your child busy and teach them some useful skills over the holidays is to have them to do an art and craft project. A simple craft activity will help them perfect basic techniques such as cutting, pasting and colouring. 

Though you could help them out with the cutting portion of this activity, make sure you let them do all the pasting and colouring themselves. Since Cindy Lou is a brightly-coloured character, children will love colouring her in.

Who Is Cindy Lou? 

Cindy Lou is a character from Dr. Seuss’ popular story ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’. She’s one of the main characters in the story and is known to be a sweet-natured girl. 

Cindy Lou is different from the other children in the story as they’re dressed in red and white while she’s dressed in pink. She meets the Grinch in this lovely Christmas story and sings a song with him to celebrate Christmas. 

You could talk to your child about Cindy Lou as and when they’re engaged in this activity. It’ll be a sweet Christmas memory for them. You could do this activity along with our Grinch Paper Craft to add to the fun.
