Lessons You Can Teach
There are so many great lessons you can teach using the story of The Lorax. Here are just a few of the things that this book touches on:
We learn from the past: The whole book is all about learning from your past mistakes. Even when we make mistakes, we can learn from them and do differently the next time.
Children learn to love the Earth and protect our natural resources: The Earth does so much for us that we don’t even realize until it’s too late. Use recycled materials to create this craft to really build an emphasis on how we can make the Earth a better place in the future.
You can be a leader. The Lorax advocated for those that could not speak. Thus, teaching us that we should lead by example not merely follow the money.
