If your kids are fond of coloring, this themed coloring page activity can be a good, productive way to keep them busy. The best part is, you’ll not need to supervise and be there to monitor and help your kids out. All you’ll need to do is print the coloring sheet, hand it over with some crayons and that’s pretty much it.

You’ll need to do a bit of prep with a black marker pen if your kids are young, but if they have developed the fine motor skills to hold and draw, you can get them to do this part too.

How to get started with this thanksgiving coloring page activity for kids

Ready to give this easy Thanksgiving inspired activity a try? You’ll need to begin with a sheet of paper.

Start by getting this print ready- you can use the download link below to save the template and print it out on an A4 sheet on your printer.

Next, use a black felt tip pen or a fine line marker to draw straight lines into the different sections of the turkey printable.
Of course, if your kids are old enough to do this on their own, it is best you let them. This will also help strengthen their fine motor skills.

Next, it is time to color! Hand over that box of crayons and the sheet, and get your kids to get creative and fill up the different sections of the turkey printable with different colors.

You can obviously use this image as a reference for the colors, but even better- you can just let your kid’s imagination run wild and let him choose his own colors if that’s what he wants to do.

And to make this activity even better and more inspired, you can sit down with your kids and while they’re doing the activity, you can talk to them about gratitude and the different things in life that they’re grateful to have.
